Tips on; How to Manage kids better

Kids like to play, play, and play. Remember this and you can handle all your demands. Here is how;

You know kids like to play, so challenge them to do the things you want them to do as a play. Sound it like a play, and they will do it.

Kids also like to learn, explore, have discipline, consistency, security.

Here is how;

Set-up a place just dedicated to them, according to their age. Here is an example for preschoolers. Make it like a preschool classroom.

Have a place just for books, like a small library. A place with a desk & chairs for their drawings, projects. A place with blocks, customs, make believes, and free play.

Set-up an schedule for them. A daily schedule will give you and them the consistency and comfort of what to expect, do, be and learn.

Daily schedule. Make a steady schedule. Post it on their classroom. Promote their daily schedule work. After breakfast, Tell them it's school time now.  For more info to get the best schedule for your need,....e-mail us

Example; (drawings, reading, story time, singing, exercise, quite time, cut&past, outdoor play, snack, free-play, lunch time, nap, snack, etc).

Timing; (set-up schedule for every half an hour, teach them on first 10 minutes, then ask them to do it for 5-10 minutes while observing, leave them to do it about 5-10 minutes on their own, then go back to them for clean up. putting things back in their place, while promoting what is next).

Weekly schedule. A trip to the library, park, their favorite kid restaurant, grocery (make everything a learning process, show them, talk to them, let them help you pick the items you've listed on shopping list, ask questions what they saw and learned while driving back home).

Monthly schedule. Set-up a time to visit museums, zoo, fair. Anything that your family enjoy while doing it together.

Holidays. Involve your kids with holidays, seasons, by making projects together. Decorating their room, class, and more.

Toys. Balance their toys according to the needs. Meaning; Learning activities, art projects, science, blocks, puzzles, software, then free-play toys. www.Bzkids.com

Remember. Kids learn through play. You need to provide the learning toys.

Pick the hobbies that you like to get involve with. Paintings, drawings, music, etc. Kids see the passion through their parents eyes. They follow what their parents like.

Get involve with community programs for kids.

Sign them up with their favorite activity groups. Sports, dance, art, music, computer, etc.

Let them make a choice, never push the kids toward learning faster or better if they are not ready for it.

Do all these with patience, sense of humor, sense of life, and enjoying your time.

When kids take a nap. Take a nap with them. When it is quite time. Relax and read a magazine.

Library time at home. Read them books in the morning. Let them read and just go through the books in the afternoon by themselves. You also can have time to yourself to right your journals, or etc.

House chores. Get the kids involve with the chores around the house. Teach them while you are doing it. This is the way we put the clothes in the laundry, lets go put the clothes in the dryer, lets fold them this way, I wash this, you wash the cup, and etc.

Kids feel important by helping around the house. They learn how to take care of themselves.

Your role as a mother is to teach them not just taking care of them. Not doing things for them. Teach them how to do it, by doing it with them.

You need to start promoting learning as early as they start walking. By putting their toys back after finished. By putting their bottles in the sink, by folding their blanket, putting it in the bed. By sorting their stuffed animals.

Kids start being sociable by around age 31/2, let them do the things they feel ready doing it, I can put my shirt on, I can tie my shoes. Help them to finish it, praise them for trying.

Keep in mind that we are human. We get tired. We are aloud to have blue days. Just remember to rest.
