ATHLETE'S FOOT
Athlete's foot is a common fungal infection in which the skin between your toes becomes blistered, itchy, and sore. Careful drying of your feet and wearing cotton socks may help.
Lifestyle changes: Careful drying of your feet and wearing cotton socks are helpful.
Dietary changes: Cut down on sugar, chocolate, any soda or juice with high sugar content.
Helpful Nutrients: Topically, Aloe Vera juice, lemon juice (no preservatives), a garlic and olive oil salve can ease your discomfort and speed the healing process.
Helpful Herbs: Echinacea, Yellow dock, Cleavers. Calendula or myrrh, in ointment or tincture form, can also be rubbed into the affected skin.
A helpful herbal combination: Boil the Echinacea and yellow dock roots for 10 minutes
in 11/2 pints of water. Reduce to 1 pint. Add the aboveground of cleavers,
cover, and steep for additional 10 minutes. Use 1 ounce of the total combined herbs
recommended, and drink up to 3 cups daily.
