Your Past
Problems with our past
might hold us back to reach our happiness and the total peace within us.
Issues and problems may arise from our childhood,
relationships, parents, siblings, and many more. But problems can be solved when it is
clearly known and faced with.
Sometimes the problems seem so deep that we may bury
it deep inside without thinking to solve it. It is with human nature to fight back when
something comes to you that you don't like. You may ignore the problem for not getting
hurt at the time. But, then it comes back in different forms to hurt you again, if it is
not solved in a perfect way.
Keep this in mind. Problems can be solved. No matter
the cause or how sever they are.
- You need to know exactly what is bothering you. Find the
root of the problem. ( example: one of my clients used food to comfort her. She went on
losing weight programs and choose me as an advisor partner. One late night she called to
say: I am not hungry, but I have an strong urge to eat. I asked her what is wrong? What is
really bothering you? At first she said nothing, then she said: I have to go on a trip
tomorrow, but I don't want to leave my children. As soon as she realized what was really
bothering her, the urge to eat went away).
- Try to separate the issues. Is it your childhood
problems? Is it current financials? Is it your career? Don't mix things. If your childhood
problems has come up, don't let it effect your marriage.
- Write it down. Write down the things that comes to your
mind.
- Keep a separate journal for each matter, so in time of
remembrance, you can track it down in the write place.
- Seek professional help.
- Talk to people who are willing to listen.
- Find associations, non-profit organizations who can help.
Talk to them to find referrals concerning your issue.
- Seek guidance in self-help, psychology, and spirituality
books.
- Join meditation classes.
- Use Aromatherapy.
- & Finally nothing is more helpful than you. You need to decide that you don't want the heartaches anymore.
You need to choose
being completely happy.
You need to allow
happiness in your life.
You need to realize that it
is your right to be happy.
